Baseball Recap: Hamilton County Comes Up Short

Hamilton County lost to Flora back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Foxes took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. The Foxes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hamilton County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Milligan, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Another was Cameron Wheeler, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs.

Hamilton County's loss dropped their record down to 5-11-1. As for Flora, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Coming up, Hamilton County will take on Goreville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Flora will be paying especially close attention to the Foxes' contest: after the Foxes face off against the Blackcats, they'll take on Flora again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
