Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Crusaders vs. Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers

Trinity Christian and Central Fellowship Christian Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2019, but not for long. The Trinity Christian Crusaders are taking a road trip to take on the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with 16 losses in a row dating back to last season, Trinity Christian turned things around against Brentwood on Friday. They walked away with a 71-59 victory over the War Eagles. The Crusaders' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Central Fellowship Christian Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 70-41 win over the Bulldogs. The Lancers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 23 points or more this season.

Trinity Christian's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-15. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Trinity Christian beat Central Fellowship Christian Academy 59-51 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Does Trinity Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Central Fellowship Christian Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
