Softball Recap: Pearland's Loss Ends Ten-Game Winning Streak at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pearland can now relate to. They came up short against the Atascocita Eagles on Saturday, falling 21-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Oilers have suffered against the Eagles since May 4, 2018.

Pearland's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 27-8. As for Atascocita, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season.

Pearland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Atascocita, they will challenge Bellaire on Saturday. The Cardinals' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
