Volleyball Game Preview: Madison Warhawks vs. Morse Tigers

The Madison Warhawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Morse Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Morse took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Madison, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Madison made easy work of Kearny and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Madison never let Kearny on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-22, 25-19.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Saturday. Morse took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Escondido Charter.

Morse's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Madison, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Madison took their win against Morse when the teams last played on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warhawks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
