Basketball Recap: Appalachian Christian School Takes a Loss

Appalachian Christian School played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 54-27 defeat at the hands of the Temple Christian Crusaders.

Emily DeStafano continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Temple Christian, dropping a double-double on 36 points and 31 boards. The dominant performance gave DeStafano a new career-high in points. Paylin Harris was another key player, putting up eight points.

Appalachian Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Temple Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.

As of now, neither Appalachian Christian School nor Temple Christian have any future games scheduled.
