Foothills Christian got themselves on the board against Maranatha Christian on Friday, but Maranatha Christian never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp  10-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  11-0  back in April.
 Emma Romeka was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Kenzie Gomez and  Brooklyn Fabulic did most of the damage at the plate:  Gomez  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI, while  Fabulic  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  runs. That's the most  hits  Gomez has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Holly Vigil, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double.
 Foothills Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Maranatha Christian only posted  an  OBP of  .125.
The  win  got Foothills Christian back to even at 6-6. As for Maranatha Christian, they moved to 8-7 with that  loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
 Coming up, Foothills Christian will square off against Coastal Academy at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. Both teams are coming into the  contest red-hot, with the Knights sitting on  three straight  victories and the Stingrays on four. As for Maranatha Christian, they will head out to  square off against Classical Academy  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
