Softball Recap: Grace Christian Crusaders vs. Lawrence Academy Warriors
After flying high against Rocky Mount Academy last Tuesday, Grace Christian came back down to earth. The Crusaders fell just short of the Lawrence Academy Warriors by a score of 10-8 on Friday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Crusaders, who until this contest were averaging 3.13 runs allowed.
Adison Gardner made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Hochevar, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
