Baseball Recap: Mulhall-Orlando's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Mulhall-Orlando had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Coyle Bluejackets a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Denver McKay, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Maison Pool was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Mulhall-Orlando's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Coyle, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
