Trinity Prep is 2-7 against Bishop Moore since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Saints will take on the Hornets at 5:00 p.m. Bishop Moore took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Trinity Prep, who comes in off a win.
If Trinity Prep beats Bishop Moore with 15 runs on Monday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Everything went the Saints' way against Cocoa Beach on Friday as they made off with a 15-5 victory. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by ten runs or more this season.
Mckenna Hawley spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 11 Ks.

On the hitting side, Emma Hartung was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with five RBI, three doubles, and one stolen base. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ashley Kozma, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Trinity Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cocoa Beach only posted a batting average of .160.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Bishop Moore's offense. They lost 15-0 to Apopka on Friday. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Blue Darters recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
The win made it two in a row for Trinity Prep and bumps their season record up to 3-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Bishop Moore, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Trinity Prep hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .392. However, it's not like Bishop Moore struggles in that department as they've averaged .379. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Trinity Prep might still be hurting after the 18-8 loss they got from Bishop Moore in their previous matchup back in February. Can the Saints avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
