It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Guy-Perkins can now relate to. They came up short against the Quitman Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Thunderbirds have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Guy-Perkins' defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Quitman, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-2 record this season.

Guy-Perkins didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Ozark Catholic Academy on the 22nd. As for Quitman, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Hackett on the 22nd.
