Baseball Recap: Southeast Guilford Comes Up Short

Southeast Guilford scored first but ultimately less than Southwest Guilford in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell 6-3 to the Cowboys. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cowboys apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Southeast Guilford and nudges their season record down to 2-8. As for Southwest Guilford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Southeast Guilford Falcons challenge East Forsyth Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Forsyth will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Southeast Guilford surely won't give up without a fight. As for Southwest Guilford, they will challenge Western Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
