Football Recap: Arkoma Runs Past Bowlegs + How To Watch

While Arkoma put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Bowlegs. The Mustangs didn't even let the Bison on the board, marking the Mustangs' second-straight 46-0 shutout. The Mustangs pushed the score to 38-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bison had no chance of recovering from.

Alex Armstrong was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 161 yards and three TDs while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 90 yards on only 12 carries. Breydon Crockett was in the mix as well, providing Arkoma with three scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Arkoma was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 285 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The win got Arkoma back to even at 2-2. As for Bowlegs, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arkoma will venture away from home to take on Quinton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bowlegs, they will head out to challenge Sasakwa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Bison their first taste of in-conference action this season.
