Basketball Recap: Epiphany Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Epiphany came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 76-25 loss at the hands of the Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots. The loss was the Falcons' first of the season.

Epiphany's loss came despite strong showings from Colt R and Cole Furniss. R posted six points, while Furniss earned six points.

Wilmington Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Trent Davies out in front who went 6-for-9 en route to 14 points in addition to six assists and four steals. Davies has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Maddox Batts, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Epiphany fell to 3-1. As for Wilmington Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-1.

Looking ahead, Epiphany will take on Pungo Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wilmington Christian Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 54-35 win against Coastal Christian on the 18th.
