Soccer Recap: Shawnee Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Shawnee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Stebbins Indians, falling 5-2. Shawnee were not able to make up for their loss to Stebbins from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13-1. As for Stebbins, their victory ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13.

Shawnee and Stebbins could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Braves will square off against Oakwood at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (560 vs. 68). Meanwhile, Stebbins (ranked 495th) will meet Troy (ranked 112th) at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
