Softball Recap: Desert Hot Springs Comes Up Short

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Desert Hot Springs was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Yucca Valley Trojans, falling 15-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Eagles of the 21-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Desert Hot Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Yucca Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Desert Hot Springs will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Perris at 3:15 p.m. As for Yucca Valley, they are taking a road trip to take on Cathedral City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
