Softball Recap: Hoosic Valley Wins Going Away Against Waterford-Halfmoon

The third road game was the charm for Hoosic Valley, as they earned their first away win of the season. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Fordians: they've now won four in a row.

Ella Waldron was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two triples, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Lainey Bochette was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Hoosic Valley picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-5. As for Waterford-Halfmoon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
