Basketball Recap: Wagner Gets the Win

Wagner had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They secured a 71-65 W over the Wings Academy Wings on Sunday.

Wings Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was JJ ADDISON, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 boards. DEMITRI LEWIS was another key player, going 6-for-12 to rack up 15 points and seven rebounds.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wagner will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Wings Academy, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Brandeis at 6:30 p.m. on December 1. The matchup will give the Wings their first taste of in-conference action this season.
