Baseball Recap: Davidson Comes Up Short

Davidson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the Baker Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 on Thursday.

Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 9-22-1. As for Baker, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Baker beat Davidson by a score of 2-1 later that day.
