Basketball Recap: Tuitt Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Longwood Prep Academy, Tuitt was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 29-18 victory over the Evander Childs Tigers. This was payback for Tuitt, who suffered a 51-47 loss the last time these two teams met.

Tuitt's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4. As for Evander Childs, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Tuitt and Gompers will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 4:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Evander Childs, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Longwood Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Longwood Prep Academy's defense has only allowed 29 points per game this season, so Evander Childs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
