Baseball Recap: Talawanda Comes Up Short

Talawanda extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 11-20 in the process. They lost 18-7 to the Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool Trailblazers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Brave of the 5-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

As for Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 25-9. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by six runs or more this season.

For Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool's part, Jude Page and Elijah Yarnell did most of the damage at the plate: Page went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double, while Yarnell went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave Page a new career-high. Eli Moehlman was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Talawanda has already played their next contest (against Monroe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
