Basketball Recap: East Providence Falls Short Against Ranked Bishop Hendricken

On Wednesday, East Providence faced Bishop Hendricken in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The East Providence Townies fell 62-50 to the Bishop Hendricken Hawks. The Townies haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

East Providence's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Bishop Hendricken, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.

When East Providence and Bishop Hendricken next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. East Providence will take on La Salle Academy and their three-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bishop Hendricken will try to stop Barrington's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
