Cabot and Central are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers challenge the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Cabot had to suffer through a 65-29 loss at the hands of Conway. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Wampus Cats are ranked first).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 47-35 win over Bryant on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won nine in a row.

Cabot's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 18-6.

Cabot was dealt a bruising 54-24 defeat at the hands of Central in their previous matchup back in January. Can Cabot avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
