The East Chambers Buccaneers will challenge the Hitchcock Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with East Chambers sitting on four straight victories and Hitchcock on 11.

East Chambers is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Huntington by a score of 69-57. Given the Buccaneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 399th, while the Red Devils are ranked 1124th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Bulldogs on Monday. Everything went Hitchcock's way against Crockett as Hitchcock made off with a 75-49 win. Hitchcock has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 25 points or more this season.

East Chambers pushed their record up to 28-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points over those games. As for Hitchcock, their win bumped their record up to 24-8.
