Basketball Recap: Antelope's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Two

If West Park wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Antelope, they should've done a better job of containing Malichai Brown. The Antelope Titans secured a 67-61 W over the West Park Panthers on Friday thanks in part to Brown, who went 8 for 10 on his way to 25 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Quentin Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played.

The win made it two in a row for Antelope and bumps their season record up to 14-4. As for West Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Antelope will host Cordova at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Antelope's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Cordova has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. As for West Park, they will welcome Grant at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
