Basketball Recap: Blacksburg Takes a Loss

Blacksburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 54-47 to the Cave Spring Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-50 two weeks ago.

Blacksburg's record is now 4-16. As for Cave Spring, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, Blacksburg and Christiansburg will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. Cave Spring does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
