Basketball Game Preview: Coe-Brown Academy Bears vs. Stark Generals

The Coe-Brown Academy Bears will venture away from home to take on the Stark Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Coe-Brown Academy is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since February 28, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 48-24 to Laconia. The Bears have struggled against the Sachems recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Stark hadn't done well against Hanover recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Stark walked away with a 50-38 victory over Hanover. The Generals didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

Coe-Brown Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Stark, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.

Coe-Brown Academy came up short against Stark when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 60-48. Can Coe-Brown Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
