Edwards is 8-0 against North Side since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Edwards Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the North Side Gators at 7:30 p.m. North Side took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Edwards, who comes in off a win.

Edwards will bounce into Friday's match after beating Greenwood, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Edwards blew past Greenwood 66-45 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, North Side didn't have quite enough to beat West Bolivar on Wednesday and fell 44-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Gators have suffered against the Eagles since November 16, 2019.

Edwards is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points per game. As for North Side, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Edwards didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against North Side in their previous matchup back in November, but they still walked away with a 51-45 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Edwards since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
