Volleyball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Oxford Academy Patriots, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Glenn was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-13, 25-15.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Oxford Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Glenn has already played their next matchup (against Cerritos), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Oxford Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Whitney on the 8th.
