Burroughs had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Principia Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bombers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Burroughs took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 25-9.

Georgia Hite paced Burroughs' offense, picking up 13 kills. Hite got some help from Kaitlyn Ahn and her 14 assists. Sophie Zhang controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Burroughs' victory bumped their record up to 10-6-1. As for Principia, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3-2.

Burroughs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against MICDS on the 27th. As for Principia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Valley Park on the 27th.
