Volleyball Recap: St. Patrick Comes Up Short

St. Patrick lost against Geneva back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. St. Patrick took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Geneva.

While St. Patrick was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-16.

St. Patrick's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Geneva, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

St. Patrick has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Hononegah on the 29th. As for Geneva, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Oak Park-River Forest on the 29th.
