Baseball Recap: Yreka Comes Up Short

Yreka lost against Lassen back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Miners fell 7-2 to the Grizzlies. The Miners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Yreka saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Gregg, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Yreka's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Lassen, they pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Grizzlies beat Yreka by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday.
