Volleyball Recap: Loveland Falls Short Against Ranked Fossil Ridge + How To Watch

Loveland faced Fossil Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Red Wolves came up short against the SaberCats, falling 3-0. The Red Wolves have struggled against the SaberCats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-11.

Trinity Burchett was nothing short of spectacular for Fossil Ridge: she had 11 digs and four aces. Burchett is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Loveland's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Fossil Ridge, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coincidentally, Loveland and Fossil Ridge will both be playing Windsor the next time they take the court. The Red Wolves will host the Wizards at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the SaberCats will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
