Volleyball Recap: Little Elm Takes a Loss

Little Elm extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping them down to 9-10. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of The Colony Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lobos of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2019.

As for The Colony, their record is now 6-15. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since August 16th.

Bonnitra Donnell was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 17 digs and four aces. What's more, she posted two assists, the most she's had over her last six matches.

Little Elm didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Richland on the 2nd. As for The Colony, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Lewisville on the 2nd.
