Basketball Game Preview: Logan Chieftains vs. Pickerington Central Tigers

The Logan Chieftains will venture away from home to challenge the Pickerington Central Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Logan will be strutting in after a win while Pickerington Central will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Logan turned things around against Teays Valley on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Vikings 52-50.

Meanwhile, Pickerington Central came up short against Reynoldsburg on Friday and fell 74-63. The Tigers have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Pickerington Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Logan, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-9.

Logan took a serious blow against Pickerington Central in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 63-24. Can Logan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
