Volleyball Recap: Antelope Valley Takes a Loss

Antelope Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Quartz Hill Royals, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Antelopes of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-14, 25-11.

Antelope Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Quartz Hill, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Antelope Valley will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gorman Learning Charter - Antelope Valley at 5:00 p.m. on March 31st. As for Quartz Hill, they will head out on the road to square off against Valencia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
