Richland County is 9-1 against Mt. Carmel since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Golden Aces at 4:30 p.m. Richland County will be strutting in after a victory while Mt. Carmel will be coming in after a defeat.

Richland County proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Charleston 2-1.

Meanwhile, Mt. Carmel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 7-0 to Richland County.

Mt. Carmel's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Richland County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Everything went Richland County's way against Mt. Carmel in their previous matchup on Saturday, as Richland County made off with a 7-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
