Volleyball Game Preview: Jordan-Matthews Jets vs. Southwest Guilford Cowboys

The Jordan-Matthews Jets are taking a road trip to square off against the Southwest Guilford Cowboys at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Jordan-Matthews lost 3-0 to Orange on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Southwest Guilford didn't have quite enough to beat R.J. Reynolds on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southwest Guilford took R.J. Reynolds into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-20, 15-25, 25-19, 15-13.

Southwest Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Jordan-Matthews, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8.
