Basketball Recap: Midwest Comes Up Short at Home Against Niobrara County

Midwest unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Niobrara County Tigers on Friday, falling 51-25. The Oilers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it nine in a row dating back to last season.

The win made it two in a row for Niobrara County and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Hulett the next time they take the court. Niobrara County will host Hulett at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Midwest will head out to face them at 2:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
