Soccer Recap: Waynedale Comes Up Short

Waynedale was the 5-0 winner over Tuslaw when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Bears fell 4-2 to the Mustangs on Monday. Waynedale have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Piper Polen and Abigail Polen scored both of Waynedale's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Waynedale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tuslaw, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Waynedale will be playing at home against Triway at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tuslaw, they will head out on the road to challenge Canton South at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give Tuslaw their first taste of in-conference action this season.
