Soccer Recap: Spring Creek Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Spring Creek was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hobbton Wildcats. The loss continues a trend for the Gators in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Spring Creek's goal came courtesy of Nina Zepeda, who's now up to two this season.

Spring Creek now has a losing record of 1-2-2. As for Hobbton, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3-1.

Looking ahead, Spring Creek will welcome North Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hobbton, they will venture away from home to challenge Princeton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Princeton will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Hobbton surely won't give up without a fight.
