Basketball Recap: Jac?Amore Fahie Fahie Key Part of a Team Effort in Rattlers Win

After losing to Cimarron-Memorial the last time they met, Mojave decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mojave Rattlers took down the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans 43-27 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rattlers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Mojave got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jac?Amore Fahie Fahie out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 boards. Those 13 rebounds gave Fahie a new career-high. Zeryah Stokes was another key player, putting up 13 points and six boards.

Mojave's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mojave won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Sunrise Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Green Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
