The Eads Eagles will venture away from home to take on the South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eads will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eads to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anna Wollert, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 13 boards. Wollert is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 12 games she's played. Jordynn Turcotte was another key player, going 5 for 9 to rack up 15 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett]). They were the clear victor by a 77-51 margin over Bethune on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Eads pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett], their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Everything came up roses for Eads against South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eads since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
