Volleyball Recap: Kevin Cruz Vera Key Part of Team Effort in Eagles Win

Christel House won the last time they faced Indianapolis Scecina Memorial and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles blew past the Crusaders 3-0.

Christel House was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-19.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Christel House to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kevin Cruz Vera, who had 11 kills, three digs, and one block. That's the most kills Cruz Vera has posted over his last seven matchups. Another player making a difference was Jason De La Cruz, who had nine assists and seven kills.

Christel House now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Indianapolis Scecina Memorial, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
