Soccer Game Preview: Gardner-Edgerton vs. Olathe South + How To Watch

The Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers will take on the Olathe South Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gardner-Edgerton's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, it was close, but Gardner-Edgerton sidestepped Shawnee Mission Northwest for a 4-3 win. That's two games straight that Gardner-Edgerton have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Olathe South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Lawrence Free State. Surprisingly, this marked Olathe South's fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Olathe South's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Gardner-Edgerton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Gardner-Edgerton took their victory against Olathe South in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 4-1 score. Will the Trailblazers repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
