Basketball Recap: Grosse Pointe North Comes Up Short

Grosse Pointe North has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 55-38 to the King Crusaders, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Norsemen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Crusaders are ranked 18th).

Grosse Pointe North's loss dropped their record down to 20-6. As for King, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

Grosse Pointe North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for King, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-43 win against Dearborn on the 4th.
