Volleyball Recap: Denham Springs Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Feliciana on Wednesday, Denham Springs came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Yellowjackets of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Denham Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, their win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Denham Springs has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Metairie Park Country Day on the 5th. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against St. Michael on the 5th.
