Hickory Ridge has gone a perfect 3-0 against Ardrey Kell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Ardrey Kell Knights at 6:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Wednesday, Hickory Ridge didn't have quite enough to beat Providence and fell 3-2.

Embler Kristyn was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). Kristyn was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

Kristyn wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Emmersyn Wiley, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. What's more, Wiley posted three hits, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Ardrey Kell had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 10-0 to Providence.

Hickory Ridge beat Ardrey Kell 5-2 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Will Hickory Ridge repeat their success, or does Ardrey Kell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
