Recap: Lassiter Trojans vs. Forest Wildcats
Even though the Forest Wildcats scored an imposing 56 points on Saturday, the Lassiter Trojans still came out on top. Lassiter managed a 61-56 win over Forest.
Lassiter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aidyn Davis, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. Tj Shinkle was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Lassiter is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Forest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lassiter and Johns Creek will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Johns Creek will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while Lassiter is ranked 51st).
