Port Neches-Groves waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Kelly Catholic Bulldogs 3-0. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

One reason for the win was Port Neches-Groves' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-13.

Port Neches-Groves now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Kelly Catholic, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port Neches-Groves will face off against Little Cypress-Mauriceville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kelly Catholic, they will head out to square off against Buna at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
