Softball Recap: Clarendon Hall Comes Up Short

Clarendon Hall has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.73 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came up short against the Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles, falling 10-0. The Saints were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the four contests prior), but the Golden Eagles' pitchers proved too tough.

Clarendon Hall's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for Pee Dee Academy, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-1.

Coming up, Clarendon Hall will face off against East Clarendon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pee Dee Academy, they will square off against Carolina Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Golden Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
